Architectural Visualisation

Camp Hill House

Aisyah obtained permission from Two Hills and James, a Brisbane-based architecture and interior design firm, to use their CAD files for the Camp Hill House project (2018) to create an architectural visualisation with her skills in 3D modelling and immersive environment building.

Her aim was to highlight the home’s open-plan layout and seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces through her technical skills in Twin Motion. The renovated design respects the heritage of the Queenslander style while enhancing its features and adapting to the subtropical climate, aligning with her interest in exploring design solutions for Brisbane’s increasingly hot summers.

In order for the Twin Motion software to recognise the different components or parts of the model, there needed to be different materials on each thus the random choice of materials. Better materials will be placed and used once imported in Twin Motion. These are different views of the finished 3D Sketch Up model.

When undertaking an architectural visualisation project, it is important she communicates with the architects that the project files, technical drawings and autocad files will not be shared or published to the public and that only the final renders will be showcased.
